Salming Race R1 orange/black
Size 12 and 13 in stock only.
This light weight mesh shoe incorporates all of the unique technologies of Salming Xfactor and then some.
The shoe upper is made in a durable light weight polyester fabric, covered with a black EXO-skeleton that keeps the foot in it's right position during lateral movements and high performance activities. Race has zero "break-in" time.
Compared to it's popular sibling, the Salming Xfactor, Race has less heel to toe drop and a thicker forefoot rebound characteristics, making it extremely comfortable and fun to run in.
At it's core you will find the T.G.S. 62/75° - which is the distance from heel to the ball of the foot (62% of the shoe) which has been designed with extra stability, which ends at the ball of the foot with the so-called "ballet" line, a 75° angle. In front of the 75° line, we have equipped Salming Race with greater flexibility to stimulate the foot's natural movements.
It features both the 5° angle on the outer side of the shoe avoiding risk of twisting your ankle and the innovative RollBar technology on the inner side, for quicker and better lateral push off.
The outer sole, the XR110, has a new developed compound that has 25% improved traction properties!

The incredible lightness of foamBy Greg from Bermuda on 03/04/2013
Amazing shoes! Light weight, cushioned, super comfortable with being very stable, grip and hold well. When I received them I was a bit unsure due to the weight and the material which felt a bit like foam/mesh. Unboxed them and wore straight into a tournament match. No blisters or pain points at all, they fit like a glove and are great performance shoes. I am really picky as many other shoes tear the skin off the top of my foot but these are my new favorites (Asic gel blast 4 are 2nd favorites). Larry recommended them and that I go a half size down, he was spot on, so size down when getting them. Had them a month now and paying 3-4 times a week, so far holding up wonderfully which i was concerned about given how light they feel.
